We had an idea of bringing a very focused, boutique approach to crisis preparation and response aimed at organizations truly wishing to launch a comprehensive strategy or significantly enhance their existing approach.
Our original intent of making things better for people directly touched by tragedy keeps being hampered by budgets. Many organizations want to do the right thing, but there simply isn’t money available to meet that goal.
Some may say if something is truly important to you, you’ll find a way to pay for it. We agree, but maybe not in the way they were intending.
A while back we stopped soliciting new business. Now, after finally closing out our accounts receivable, we’re able to announce something a bit radical.
No, we have not suddenly joined the world’s one percent club. Rather, we really want to make a difference. For us, that means gaining the freedom to accept assignments that significantly benefit people without being disappointed when something falls through due to monetary constraints.
So can anyone query and we will show up? Not quite. The freedom to help comes with the freedom to choose who we should help. Anyone can reach out. However, only organizations that we believe are extremely serious about building a robust crisis strategy or enhancing their existing approach will benefit from our new vision.
